About Me

With a background spanning technology business, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and a Master of Science in Biomimicry from Arizona State University, my work bridges strategic thinking, creativity, and innovation.

Through my work in enterprise technology, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams, I’ve long been curious about how materials, form, and function come together to shape meaningful experiences. In design, form and color are often driven by aesthetics. In nature, however, every form and color serves a purpose. From the adaptive color shifts of chameleons to the varied geometries of leaves and skin textures, biological structures are inherently intentional—supporting function, resilience, and the health of the broader system.

What if we followed nature’s lead, where beauty and function coexist seamlessly? What if color carried meaning, form generated function, and systems were designed not just to perform—but to endure?

That same way of thinking extends beyond products and materials to the way organizations innovate. Nature’s time-tested strategies for efficiency, adaptability, and resilience offer a powerful lens for rethinking processes, systems, and products.

Biomimicry is a way of observing patterns, abstracting insights, and applying them in new contexts to move beyond inherited assumptions.

The opportunity lies in designing not merely to stand out, but to create conditions for resilience and sustained value.

If you’re curious how innovation inspired by nature can inform new ideas and directions, I invite you to explore the projects here—or reach out to begin a conversation.
